An honest directory of Grok bots
BotsDots exists so you can find a Grok Bot template by the job it does, see what it touches before you add it, and credit the person who built it.
Where the listings come from
The core catalog is synced daily from kydlikebtc/awesome-grokbot, an open catalog that status-checks every x.ai share link. We merge it with majiayu000/awesome-grok-bot (CC0), cs68614-hash/awesome-grokbot-templates (CC0), GrokBot.dev (CC BY 4.0), GrokBot HQ (CC BY 4.0) and dajiaohuang/awesome-grok-bot-templates. Each listing names the catalogs its text came from. We also scan public GitHub repositories for share links nobody has catalogued yet; for those, the name and description come from the creator's own x.ai page. And creators submit their bots directly.
Facts — a bot's name, its share link, who shared it and whether the link works — are listed as facts. We never host or copy a bot's configuration; every listing links to the creator's official x.ai page.
What we check
- That each share link uses the official https://x.ai/bot/ format.
- That the page loads. Links that stop resolving are retired.
- Which kinds of access the public description mentions, turned into a low / amber / red rating.
- Which schedule the description implies — on demand, hourly, daily, weekly or monthly.
What we do not check
We do not audit every instruction, connected tool or future edit a creator makes. The access rating is a reading aid, not a certification. Always review the live configuration on x.ai before you grant a bot access to anything.
